Things are moving slowly, but they are moving. The back trouble turned out to be caused by deeper health issues which are now under control. I have contacted the cover designer (who has now contracted COVID — please keep him in your prayers; his name is Noel). The novelette, meanwhile, is out to a copyeditor.

I had written a short crime story last November for an anthology, but it wasn’t accepted. Tried sending it to Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, but they didn’t want it either.

Shifting back to Zoe again.

Under the Books & Stories page I've added an excerpt from Unexpected Tales, with a link to it from the home page.
